Commissioned by Shree Agencies, the project focused on identifying gaps in readymade study tables and translating them into a more useful, comfortable, and scalable furniture solution.
Many readymade tables solve only the basic need for a work surface. Through market research, review analysis, and user interviews, I identified recurring pain points around cable access, storage, workspace organisation, and lack of personal utility.
The goal was to design a table that felt simple, warm, and practical, while still being easy to manufacture at scale.
The table uses a bent-tube frame as the main structure, giving it strength, visual lightness, and a clean furniture identity.
The plywood and laminate work surface adds warmth and durability, while the soft blue-grey metal frame gives the product a calm, modern character suited for home interiors.
The rear board gives users space to pin notes, reminders, schedules, and study material.
A built-in plug point allows users to charge laptops, phones, and other devices while working.
The tubular frame creates a strong yet lightweight visual language and keeps manufacturing simple.
